Motivate Kids to Write with a Santa Letter

I’ve been looking through our nice and naughty list and saw that you’ve been really good this year, we’re all very proud of you. Even Mrs. Claus mentioned what a good *GIRL/BOY* you’ve become… Honestly, I don’t know how she has time to check up on you, because she’s been so busy making cookies for me and the elves (mostly for me, I eat a lot!).
Right now, I’m drinking some hot chocolate and trying to get warm from working outside all day. I had to feed and exercise the reindeer and make sure my sled is prepared for the long journey ahead on Christmas Eve. And if I remember you live in *CITY NAME*, don’t you? That’s a long trip from the North Pole! I sure hope thereis some milk and cookies when I get to your house!.. I’ll be very hungry!
I heard you are learning to read and write in school now, so do you think you could write me a letter? I’d like to see how you are doing. I’ll be sure to write back as soon as I get the letter!
I know that you’re really hoping for a *TOY1* and *TOY2*, and I will do my best to get everything you asked for this year… just as long as you promise to stay on your best behavior for your parents and keep working on your reading and writing!
